Tejas Asia - MOBILE SCHOOL BUS / MARATHON RUN
Did you know: It is estimated that more than 500,000 children are out of school & homeless in New Delhi and that 18 million children in India are living on the streets with no access to education, nutrition or basic healthcare.
Good news: We can change this! We can change lives!
How: Sponsor us to run in the Melbourne Marathon on 14 October 2018 and the proceeds will go towards purchasing a Mobile School bus - A project that wil help change the lives of 100 children!

Mobile School Bus Project: This is one of TejasAsia's many projects. A 50 seater bus is purchased and fitted with air conditioners, TVs, computers, fans, lights and foldable tables. It is transformed into a mobile school bus that brings education, food and a whole lot of heart to two communities every day - that's 100 children receiving an education, nutrition and a chance every day!
A team consisting of two teachers, one assitant, one bus driver & one helper will assist everyday. And guess what. We will be helping TejasAsia purchase its FOURTH BUS!!!
FINANCIALS (aka let's smash our $15,000.00 goal)
$1,500.00: monthly cost of running the mobile school bus.
$32,000.00: the approximate price of a second hand (year 2014/2015) Tata or Ashok Leyland Bus.
$50,000.00: the approximate price a new Tata or Ashok Leyland Bus.
