Teeth for Dave Collins

One of our beloved Scotts Valley Little League coaches was involved in a freak accident during a AAA game on Monday night. While walking behind a batter on his way to base coach he was struck in the face with a bat. It seems the bat hit him squarely in his front 2 teeth. The force of the blow knocked one tooth out all together and displaced the other up into his gums. The force of the blow also caused multiple fractures of the bone up under his nose. He needed immediate surgery in the hospital.

In order to put Dave back together he will require more surgery with an oral surgeon, placement of 2 dental implants, followed by crowns. He will also need a temporary partial denture to wear during the healing process. 

Although some insurance is available it won't pay but a fraction of Daves upcoming medical bills. Dave has spent countless hours on our fields, always volunteering, coaching, and being a super positive influence on our players. We are tight knit community up here and I'd love to see us all dig in and help support one of our own. Anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated. Let's show Dave how much we love him and get him a new grill so he can continue to grace our town with his great smile! All proceeds will go directly to Dave for any and all medical bills he's faced with.
