Our names are Trevor and Sharyn Harrex and we would love if you could read on and help us to raise funds for our niece Teenica.
Teenica was critically injured in an accident on 10/12/17 whilst overseas and is currently in a foreign hospital where the medical bills to save her life are mounting.
Her parents are retired and the medical bills are causing a huge stress on top of the fact their daughter (our niece) is in a foreign country so badly injured. Distance is so hard under these circumstances. We now have some of her family members bedside updating us on her progress.
Her injuries are substantial and we would appreciate any help towards getting her well enought to come home to her loving family.
Teenicas parents are heart broken to say the least and it is christmas time as well so even harder. This is our way of helping to get Teenica back home to her family and we would be so truly grateful if you can help in anyway through our Go Fund Me page
We are Teenicas Aunty and Uncle and live in Queensland Australia
Teenica's parents are our brother / sister in law; Ian and Ann Harrex
The funds we are raising will be used for the current medical expenses approx $150000 incurred overseas to date
Her parents have incurred huge medical expenses so far in Bali to perform a cranial operation on Teenicas brain due to both subdural and epidural haemoroid injuries to her head. Another operation to repair her multiple broken ribs with plates and insert chest drains for her collasped lung has also been carried out so she can breathe on her own. She also had a blood clot removed. Other medical costs needing to be covered are the daily hospitalisation of Teenica until she can be transported back home to New Zealand.
The next cost facing Teenica's parents is the cost of getting her home and this is in the vicinity of $100000
Her parents are retired and are currently using all retirement funds and resources to get their daughter home, their funds are being exhausted to save the life of their daughter and this is why we are helping them.
The withdrawal of the funds raised on Go Fund Me will be withdrawn and deposited immediately to the bank account of Ian and Ann Harrex; the parents of Teenica to cover the costs we have outlined above.
We will wind up the campaign once the goal has been reached and in the event there are funds remaining Teenica's parents will donate the funds back to a similar cause on Go Fund Me for another family to benefit as we have.
