Taylor Family Fundraiser for Nehayla and Morgan

Donation protected
Tiffany Taylor was a hard-working woman and a loving mother. She put herself through college, almost always getting a 4.0 GPA, and when her girls were young, she became a successful pharmacist. She was an engaged and active mother to her two daughters, Nehayla and Morgan. She encouraged them to find their passions, to work hard in school, and to be independent. She taught this not only through example, but through loving and motivating conversations with her daughters. Nehayla and Morgan have fond memories of their mom growing up: singing, laughing, learning, and reading together.

Sadly, about 5 years ago, traumatic circumstances overcame Tiffany’s life. This trauma, as well as a strong family history of clinical depression and anxiety - caused Tiffany’s mental health to spiral downward. The depression and anxiety took over her previously wonderful personality and life. Tiffany tried everything she could to get help and get healthy, but, like a cancer that has spread, the anxiety, depression, and chronic pain overcame her mind and body. She was unable to return to her job as a successful Pharmacist, and could barely leave the house not only from the mental illness, but from constant physical pain as well. Amazingly, the few times she did leave the house, it was to support her daughters in their music performances, or this past year, Nehayla graduating High School.

Heartbreakingly, Tiffany passed away on February 29, 2020 from pulmonary embolism: blood clots in her legs which moved to her lungs, blocking her oxygen flow. Tiffany was only 39 years old and her family greatly mourns her loss.

Because of their mother's illness, Nehayla and Morgan, now ages 19 and 18, have taken care of themselves a lot over the past five years. Tiffany’s fiancé fortunately came to live with them in 2015, and helped pay some of the bills, but he will most likely be returning to Texas this year to be closer to his family.  Sadly, any equity or assets in Tiffany’s name will go toward funeral costs and paying debts left behind (house loan, car loan, credit card, etc) instead of to her daughters.

Nehayla and Morgan have done nothing but work hard and do everything in their power to make a promising future for themselves. They both have dreams of graduating college and having successful careers- just as their mother did. Nehayla is already in college and Morgan will be attending in the Fall of 2020. At this time, funds for college expenses are needed. They will also need finances to pay for a lawyer to help settle their mother’s debts. Lastly, funds to pay for day to day things like gas, food, clothes, and sooner than expected: rent and utilities money because their current home will most likely have to be sold. This was their childhood home, moving here from Oregon with Tiffany about 10 years ago. Leaving home for the first time should be an exciting time for teenagers, with some help from parents. Instead, they will be forced to move when the time comes.

Making any donation will help. It really will make a huge difference in two young girls lives knowing they don't need to carry a huge financial burden while grieving the loss of their mother. Please donate any amount that you feel comfortable with, even if it is anonymous. Your generosity means the world. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
