Teen Enrichment Scholarship Fund
We are accepting donations for the Teen Enrichment Network Scholarship Fund. In addition, donations may be mailed to TEN directly at 7124 Salem Fields Blvd. PMB # 121, Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
The Teen Enrichment Network scholarship selection committee is searching for well-rounded students from the Fredericksburg Region who exhibit creativity, scholastic ability, evidence of leadership and involvement, service to community or school, and outstanding character.
How to Apply for Scholarship: Seniors, Class of 2021, who are planning to attend college in the Fall of 2021 are eligible. Deadline is April 1, 2021. Applicants may choose from the following three options:
Create a public service announcement video (no longer than two minutes)
Write an essay (approximately 500 words)
Create a slide presentation (approximately ten slides)
Topic: If nothing else, the COVID-19 pandemic is slowly revealing inequities in . . .
This past year we have seen unrest in multiple areas; health, financial, and civil to name a few. Select one and thoroughly explain the inequities as well as giving steps to correct them. Cite evidence to support your argument and include a works cited page.

Spotsylvania students can give the scholarship to their school counselor who will forward it to Mr. Mitchell.
Be sure to include your name, high school, and contact information on your entry (phone number and email address).
We will award a minimum of one scholarship in the amount of $1000, non-renewable, based upon the amount of donations received.
We are requesting community collaboration in order to help fund a teen's college career. We are an NPO.
