Dad's medical expenses/ bucket list

I am Ted Hatheway and I am raising money to help my father, Ted Hatheway Sr., who has recently been diagnosed with lung cancer. These funds are solely to help him with medical expenses, AND "bucket list" experiences he has yet to fulfill. Unfortunately for him, and us as a family, he has no health or life insurance to rely on during this difficult time.
I am reaching out to all of you who know my father, my family, to help generate funds that we may use for the medical expenses we are already incurring. I would like to think that enough funds could be raised to also allow him to do some of the "bucket list" things he wants to experience before he is no longer with us.
If you could find it in your heart to make a contibution to the man that has touched all of our lives throughout the years, it would mean the world to my family and I. For those of you that know my father, he has always tried to help people. From donating every Thanksgiving to local food banks, to joining the volunteer fire department after our house burned down years ago, he has always been a positive influence in the community in which he lives. He is my father, and my best friend, and I want to do anything in my power to help make his quality of life the best it can be while he's still here.
The funds we are raising, are going to be used as soon as we can generate enough to make a difference.  I have set a goal of $15000, however, the more money we can raise, the better! More charities and fundraisers are in the works right now, to help supplement any money generated here.  Any financial help you could donate would mean the world to our family! I know we will be greatly appreciative for any support you may be able to give!
