Hi loved ones ❤️

Some amazing news - Teddy has been asked to go on a football tour to Melbourne in July, to represent WA against a bunch of high calibre Melbourne teams. A huge honour to be asked, we can't believe it!

However, obviously it's not a cheap thing to do and an adult (probably me) would have to fly over, stay with him & travel with him too.

If we could easily afford it on our own, I'd never ask, but I also don't want to have to turn down the opportunity without trying everything we can! So we figured we have nothing to lose by just putting out a call to everyone... if anyone is in a position to be able to contribute a tiny bit towards the trip, it could help us get him there and take a bit of pressure off us to find the money so quickly. Any help is genuinely appreciated and valued ❤️

A rough estimate is that the flights will be about $500 each return, accommodation for 5 days is approx $1000, and the tour fee is $500. We're probably looking at $3k, give or take. (I've put this figure as the goal amount but obviously we'll be paying the majority ourselves, I've just used it above as an easy figure!)

I know we have lots of family and friends who love and are so proud of Teddy, regardless of whether or not he ends up going. If it doesn't work out this time, no doubt there will be other opportunities that come up and other great things on the horizon for him.
