Teddy Needs Sclerotherapy to Save His Life!

This is Theodore (aka Teddy) and he has had a very rough time lately. Just this week he has been to the vet 4 times (2 times at emergency).

He has been battling idiopathic renal hematuria. Basically he has been bleeding from his left kidney and it has become uncontrollable.

He is SEVERELY anemic and also in danger of urethral blocking by blood clots. These issues have caused cascading effects including seizure, stroke or syncope (vets not sure but he has several episodes this week). He has developed a heart murmur and injured his back during a collapsing episode.

He needs a procedure at the NCSU vet school for sclerotherapy on his kidney. They can do the procedure as soon as I have the funds.

I initially had four beloved pets, all very well taken care of and loved so deeply. I also had a good chunk of savings accumulated through years of living a spartan lifestyle - I only freely spent on my four legged babies and my foster animals. However, whether it was tragedy or just something in the environment all 4 became very ill back to back. I have blown all my savings, spent thousands and still lost two of them (Cain and Ace). Teddy also lost two beloved friends and playmates. There is just Teddy and Willow left- Willow has lymphoma and is on chemo, if we are lucky we will get a few more months with her.

Teddy will be all I have left and I am about to lose him too.

I'm desperate enough to ask for help at this point. If I could sell off a kidney I would do it in a heartbeat.

I was already denied Care Credit. I went through 50 plus grant organizations asking for help for Willow with little return even though I have non-stop been trying to pull off a miracle.

I would like for life to get back to normal (as much as possible) for us and to get back to fostering.

Teddy himself has been instrumental in helping to raise orphaned bottle kittens and helping to rehabilitate rescue dogs with behavioral issues. Because of the help from all four of my babies, there are hundreds of animals out there that went on to find great homes after coming through our doors.
