Ted's Miracle Network, Cancer sucks

Donation protected
GOAL: Rent a wheelchair van for a few months while Ted is still able to get into a wheelchair and take him around the country to see as much of God's beautiful earth as possible before he can no longer do so. It is his wish to do this and share this time with me while we can.  He wants to make it to Seattle to meet his newest grandson, California to see San Francisco and Folsom (where I grew up), Wyoming to see our son graduate from college and so many other places. I barely manage my bills at our current income level but I must make this happen. I need to rent the van, pay for fuel and hotel rooms. Absolutely any donation amount would be greatly appreciated.

Ted's Story: Ted is a veteran who is now battling the most aggressive form of brain cancer known as Glioblastoma. In October of 2017 he began having numbness in his left extremities. That is when he was diagnosed with the glioblastoma brain tumor. At this time I left my job so I could be Ted's full time caretaker and Ted retired from his position and applied for social security disability (still pending approval ).
Since his October diagnosis he has survived  brain surgery; a major set back from bilateral DVT's, bilateral pulmonary embolism and a blood clot in the saddle of the heart that delayed his treatments; radiation and chemo; and then was admitted to the hospital for sepsis and steroid induced diabetes which caused extreme weakness and put him in rehab for 4 1/2 weeks. This delayed his treatments once again. When he was sent home from rehab he was still weak but quickly declined. He suddenly could no longer feel his left leg under him making it impossible for him to stand. On Thursday, March 15, just 6 days after coming home from rehab, Ted had an appointment with his team of doctors in Bethesda, MD to get his MRI results and discuss his future treatment. I had to rent a wheelchair van to get him to the appointments since Ted can't stand to get into the car. On that day we learned that Ted's tumor is actually growing and that there's a fairly large area around the tumor where the blood vessels are being affected. Ted's treatment will consist only of a high dose of chemo for 5 days and then a 23 day break before repeating. Unfortunately we have no idea how long Ted will have the strength to get into the wheelchair but God willing we will be able to get him to all his desired locations. Praying daily for continued strength and healing.
