TechBoston Academy Goes to DC + NJ

To Whom It May Concern:

Each and every year, we are looking to take the TechBoston Academy/ Henderson Inclusion School boys’ basketball program to new heights. This past season was a historic one, as we were able to capture the first Boston City League Championship in almost 30 years while winning the first MIAA state championship in school history. From the beginning to the very end of the season, we matched up against elite competition throughout our home state. However, we prepared ourselves by opening up against teams from the Maryland and Washington D.C. area. Once we returned home, our next opponent was a top-ranked team from Connecticut.


We believe in providing our student-athletes the best competition possible with our scheduling, in addition to creating meaningful experiences. We have seen how our annual trip to the nation’s capital has served as the best tool for enhancing the chemistry between the players and coaches. Regardless of the outcome, it’s a memory that we value and cherish as a program. It is our diligence to keep the tradition alive as well as expand what is become the norm.


In addition to traveling to traveling to Washington D.C. this December, we will also be traveling to Bayonne, New Jersey for the Skyline Classic, hosted by Marist High School. This tournament will feature nationally recognized programs from neighboring states such as New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. We are honored to receive an invitation to this tournament and have the chance to represent our school and the City of Boston.
