Makai Samuels Paige is a world renowned kidventor. His journey started at 7 years old with the Anti-Bully Backpack. This revolutionary
idea was created from the trauma of being bullied throughout elementary and middle school. He invented the backpack to provide his
parents with real-time footage of unsafe encounters at school. The Anti-Bully Backpack has won the Georgia Student Technology
Competition, Atlanta Public Schools District Tech Fair, and State of Georgia Tech Fair! Makai's Anti-Bully Backpack received a grant and
patent on November 18, 2019 through "You Make a Challenge" with Rockwell Automation and was featured on Fox News, ABC, and
Nickelodeon. But, Makai did not stop there! He invented the ReSki at the age of 11 years old finished the design in a year during the
pandemic. The ReSki is a life saving remote control watercraft. This latest invention has won 6 awards from the Georgia Science and
Engineering Fair at the University of Georgia. The ReSki has placed Makai in the top 10% of Middle Schoolers in Tech in the Nation as
nominated by the prestigious Broadcom Masters. In July of 2021, Makai now 13 is launching his nonprofit, "Makai The Great Foundation" to help underprivileged youth innovators reach their goals using Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) while supporting with anti-bullying initiatives. Makai is here to create, innovate, and be great!
