Hi everyone,

I want to start by saying this is a very vulnerable post for me and my husband, we were very hesitant on even making a GoFundMe but we decided it was time to share our story. I know some might think that because I have a son I should be grateful for that and I am beyond grateful, I am blessed to have my wonderful little boy. He is constantly asking us for a baby brother or sister and all we can tell him is that we’re trying. It’s heartbreaking. I know it may not mean much to some but my husband is the last male in his bloodline who could carry on his family name and that does mean a lot to him. Please read our story and if you can share because anything helps!

For those of you who don’t know us, My husband and I have been trying to grow our family for about three years now. I have a son who is not my husband’s biological son but he loves him just like he would love his own child. We’ve faced countless appointments, tests, and heartbreaks along the way. After much hope and prayer, our doctors have told us that our best — and only — chance to have a baby is through IVF (in vitro fertilization).

This journey has been emotional, and while we’re doing everything we can to make it happen, the financial cost of IVF is far beyond what we can manage on our own. The treatments, medications, and procedures add up quickly, and insurance doesn’t cover much, if any, of it.

We’re turning to our family, friends, and community with open hearts, asking for help to make our dream of becoming parents to a sweet little baby come true and to be able to give our son a sibling that he asks for so often that it breaks our hearts to tell him we are trying our best to give him a baby brother or sister. Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward our IVF treatment costs — and every share or word of encouragement means the world to us.
