Teatro Yerbabruja and the Second Avenue Firehouse Gallery are committed to the well being of the community and are taking steps to ensure safety. During this time of social distancing, Teatro invites you to connect with a multicultural & multigenerational community all across the world virtually!

Teatro Yerbabruja is a nonprofit organization with the mission to use art as a tool for social change and bring a positive social and economic impact to our community. In the state of our current circumstance, we would like to continue connecting with artists and educators even if we cannot physically gather together.

We offer a variety of classes on zoom ranging from art to wellness. Our schedule includes Yoga, Movement Awareness, Dance, Acting, Sip n Paints, Music, Open mics, and more!

Zoom is accessible from your phone, tablet or computer.

Classes are donation based. Donate what you can, if you can.
Suggested donation is $5-$10 per class.

All donations go to the upkeep of the Firehouse Gallery & freelance staff to help during this time of uncertainty while employment has been limited.

Our Home 
The 100-year old Second Avenue Firehouse in Bay Shore, Long Island, is now a meticulously restored building that has been born again – as a gallery and home to an artist-in-residence.

Our suggested donation is $5-10 per class. We will be more than grateful to receive even higher donations if you can afford it. By donating to this page you are supporting the Firehouse Gallery and its staff.
