Ambulances immediately rushed Brad to the local hospital and his wounds were evaluated. One wound had punctured the stomach, requiring immediate surgery. Surgeons performed an Exploratory Laparotomy and a blood transfusion that same night. Recovery from this trauma is far from easy, and calls for a special kind of patient to fight through the pain and discomfort.

His magnetic demeanor has been enjoyed by all who have come into Brad’s life. From May 2008 to April 2012, Brad exemplified his attributes with his service in the Marine Corps and was stationed in Japan from 2009 to 2010. Brad additionally served in support of the Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) in the Helmund Province of Afghanistan. Currently, Brad is occupied being a student and will be transferring from Butte College to CSU Chico this coming fall. He hopes to become a project engineer for the Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) after completing a double major in civil engineering and construction management.

Bradley is an incredibly gifted individual who stands tall as a role model to many. The unrestrained support from the Riley’s crew, close friends, and loving family reflect on how great of a man Bradley Stricklin really is.
