Climbing Snowdon to Raise Money For Our School

Tax deductible
On the 16th March 2019, we will be climbing Snowden (3559 ft), the highest mountain in Wales and England to raise money for the children at Pochin School in Barkby, Leicestershire.

Pochin is an amazing but small school where funding is limited. As parents, we wanted to take the opportunity to fundraise to help the school offer enhanced classroom-based learning and extracurricular activities. The money that is raised will be used to benefit all the children in the school in various ways, from author workshops, purchasing new class books, poetry workshops, punctuation shows, interactive animal demonstrations, new playground equipment, climbing wall, and ice-creams at the Christmas Panto! - these are to name just a few.

We are all novice mountaineers so will certainly be a challenge. We are expecting a 7-hour challenging climb up and down the mountain so any donations, however little or small, would be greatly appreciated, not only by us but the school itself!
