My dear friend, Maison Sanz is a walking miracle.  He was born with 9 congenital heart defects, 2 left lungs, rotated intestines, C2-C4  spinal fusions, and polysplenia which means he has 6 functional spleens.  The doctors didn’t think he would make it out of the hospital after birth but what the doctors didn't know is that Maison is a warrior.

Fast forward  19 years and Maison is still stunning doctor.  But all of these issues, 20+ surgeries, six of which were open heart have taken a toll on this young man’s body.   In the past five days,  he has had another three surgeries, 16 blood transfusions, and is still bleeding from an unknown source.

Maison needs a miracle.  If there is anyone that can beat the odds, it’s him.  He’s a silent warrior; he fights each day with a smile and although his heart is weak it beats stronger than anyone’s I know.  He’s a pure soul with  an infectious sense of optimism and he needs a miracle.  

All Maison wants is to be a "normal" kid.  To have a job, a girlfriend, and to just be.  He hasn't had food or drink in 6 days and is in pediatric cardiac ICU at Duke.  

Please help fight this fight with Maison.  Please pray, send good vibes, and love to our hero without a cape.
