Liam Vanderveer was just 13 months old when diagnosed with stage 3 high risk myc amplified neuroblastoma( a rare form of pediatric cancer affecting about 700 children each year in US). Liam is recieving treatment at All Children's Hospital in St.Petersberg, Florida. He has already went through 7 rounds of chemo, several procedures, one major surgery removing the mass,right kidney,right adrenal gland. and just went through a stem cell transplant with a 40 day stay in the hospital due to VOD a side effect from the chemo. We still have a long road with treatment including outpatient radition at Florida Hospital in Tampa, Florida. We are hoping for clear scans after radiation so Liam can recieve antibody treatment which is still a clinical trail that helps boost the survival rate for his type of cancer. any donations are greatly appreaciated during this difficult time.
