This week we have had the most devastating news that no one should ever hear!
My Brother In Law, Matt, is 35 years old, Husband to my Sister Sarah and Daddy to his 2 children, Tommy 5 and Nancy 3.
He was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukaemia) the day before their 5 year Wedding anniversary last year. He was healthy and fit and happened to go to the GP to get his bloods done as he was getting a lot of mouth Ulcers. When the results came back it left us all heart broken and so here we are to show our support and get Matt and his family through this terrible illness.
After months of chemo and a long fight, Matt went into remission! However only 8 months later and he has relapsed. He is back in the Christie for chemo and will be having a stem cell transplant.
Same time as last year, around their anniversary & Christmas time!
Any money donated big or small will really help the family out. Even £1 can help towards petrol for the 2 hour round drive for Sarah to see Matt. With Christmas coming up, I’m sure anything raised at all will go a long way into giving this family a Christmas to remember.
