These past couple of months have been a nightmare. It all started back in March when my daughter noticed my grandson was having trouble walking, he was limping and like any mother would she took him in to the hospital. They continued to tell her he had a sprain in his ankle. Visit after visit nothing wasn’t changing he wasn’t healing the way they said he would. It’s already the middle of April and my daughter demanded to see a specialist cause time after time going back and forth with his PCP nothing was found but she knew something was really wrong with my grandson . They gave her the referral and she went they told her still nothing was wrong but she didn’t give up she wanted him checked again so they scheduled him for a bone scan with contrast 2 day later he goes in a 7am and by 3pm our family’s worst fear was told that my grandson Bryan had cancer and needed to see a specialist ASAP. 3 weeks to a month results came back he was diagnosed with BCOR & is now needing a amputation we couldn’t save his leg even if we wanted to . The chemo helped the tumor shrink that had his ankle swollen but the cancer wasn’t shrinking at all . My daughter is now needing help with funds to transform her home handicap safe. My son in law will be out of work for awhile to help my grandson adjust to this Drastic life change.
