Bear and a Tragic Accident

In a very unfortunate chain of events, my 13 year old best friend was ran over by my neighbor while he napped in the yard. She was a little old lady and probably shouldn't be driving . She had no reason to back up the way she did into our yard and then proceeded to leave afterwards and have a hit and run at Walgreens. Needless to say, she has absolutely no money and will not be footing any part of this evergrowing bill. Bear is currently under the care of Nashville Veterinary Specialists where they have been monitoring all his vitals and keeping him comfortable with IV meds for his broken/dislocated hip. I will better know what the future has in store for Bear as they will be giving me more direct options as they take a deeper look into his hip this afternoon. They are giving me current cost estimates, on the low end around $2000 to as much as $6000 over the next few weeks. I've already paid $1000 to even get this far. I'm not ready to say goodbye to Bear over cost and a tragic neighbors accident. I hate asking for help financially, as I've prided myself on being able to live sustainably and self sufficiently. I want to be able to give my dog the best care he deserves, without having to sacrifice everything I've worked so very hard for over these past few years. I promise to not only send you a small print with a personal thank you note for your donation, but I also promise to pay your kindness and generosity forward in every way I can. I'm devastated currently and feeling completely helpless. I'm suppose to leave tomorrow for my best festival of the year financially, but I'm not sure that me and my art will make it there now.
