Team Baby Molly

This is Molly. The sweetest angel who ever lived. A bright, beautiful, two and a half year old who brings joy to all who meet her. Last week, Molly had a fever and some severe back pain. Her mom, Laurie, took her to the doctor Sat. morning. After a few tests, they rushed her to Children's Hospital due to low blood counts, pneumonia, and a heart murmur. After two days in Children's Hospital, a bone marrow biopsy, a lymph node removal, Molly received a diagnosis - B Cell Leukemia. To say this news was devastating would be a huge understatement. As Laurie's stepmom, I've seen too much sadness in her life already. Most of you know that Laurie lost her mom when she was just 10 years old. Then she just just lost her lost brother, Bronson, 2 yrs ago when he was murdered during a home invasion at age 23. Molly is the bright spot in her life as well as all of our lives. Molly is bright, sweet, loving, and an absolute joy to all that meet her. I know Laurie and Jim will have a long and expensive road ahead of them. They are AMAZING parents, but being amazing parents won't pay any medical bills. Any help we can get for them will be greatly appreciated. I will be posting updates on Molly's progress regularly.
