Aguadilla (BQN)- Our community movement #TEAMATOAS, inspired by our hero Roberto Clemente to carry on his legacy of helping people in their moments of crisis, has recognized how much our towns Aguadilla, Isabela and surrounding areas need our help. The future of our island (Puerto Rican children) is what keeps our hopes high and inspire us to keep moving towards our goal.
Goal: $21K (Roberto Clemente's jersey number)
There have been catastrophic damages that have been identified throughout the island after the passing of Hurricane Maria. Not only do we need to rebuild, but there is a dire need for food, medicine, water and bare essentials. Communication and transportation have also been severely affected, making it impossible for anyone to work and in turn ruining the already struggling economy.
Why should you trust in #TEAMATOAS?
Our main goal is that the donations arrive directly to the hands of the families affected without anyone else getting involved. We’re even working with users/speakers of other languages such as ASL to make sure our message reaches everyone possible.
Why were we inspired by Robert Clemente?
In September 2016, at 9 years old, our son had the honor to represent Roberto Clemente and Puerto Rico in Orlando, FL with his baseball team. He has been a role model for our son ever since. Roberto Clemente has not only inspired our son, but he is an idol and hero to many children in our communities and different parts of the world. We want our children and others to follow in his footsteps.
This team was created by athletes from Aguadilla, Isabela and their surrounding towns of PR. This experience has changed their lives forever and will be a day that will never be forgotten.
Your donations will go directly to the hands of the affected families of our community and surrounding areas. It will also contribute to the restoration of these communities, collaborations with other teams to restore our common areas and to keep our beloved sports alive. This way our hero’s legacy will continue. We need more Roberto Clementes in this world and you can become one of them.
There’s no such thing as not helping enough. Just a simple “share” can help the lives of many.
Together we will rebuild a new and improved Puerto Rico.

Aguadilla (BQN)- El movimiento comunitario #TEAMATOAS, que nació inspirado en nuestro héroe Roberto Clemente y a su legado de ayudar a los más necesitados en tiempos de crisis reconoce la urgencia de brindar ayuda a las comunidades trabajadoras de los pueblos de Aguadilla, Isabela y áreas limítrofes. El motor que nos mueve para esta encomienda es el futuro de nuestra isla; nuestras niñas y niños puertorriqueños.
Meta: $21K (el número de Roberto Clemente)
Tras el paso del huracán Maria daños estructurales masivos han sido identificados. En adición, hay una necesidad urgentes de suministro de alimentos, medicamentos y artículos de primera necesidad. Las comunicaciones y el transporte también han sido severamente afectados, imposibilitando el trabajo, la mano de obra en el área y como consecuencia un estanque en el movimiento de la economía.
¿Por qué unirte a #TEAMATOAS?
Nuestro principal objetivo es que la ayuda llegue directa a las manos de las familias afectadas SIN INTERMEDIARIOS. Contamos con personas que hablan/usan diferentes lenguajes como el leguaje de señas (ASL) ampliando así nuestra zona de impacto.
¿Por qué inspirados por Roberto Clemente?
En septiembre de 2016, nuestro hijo, a sus 9 años de edad, tuvo el honor de representar a Puerto Rico en Orlando, FL junto a su equipo de pelota.
El equipo era compuesto por atletas del pueblo de Aguadilla e Isabela y pueblos limítrofes de PR. Está experiencia marco la vida de ellos para siempre y la de nosotros también.
Roberto Clemente ha sido un ídolo y héroe para todos los niños de nuestras comunidades y para muchos niños y jóvenes alrededor del mundo por igual.
Su donación irá directamente a las manos de las familias afectadas de nuestras comunidades en Aguadilla, Isabela y pueblos limítrofes de Puerto Rico.
Su ayuda también contribuirá a fomentar la restauración de estas comunidades, la colaboración, el trabajo en equipo, el respeto por nuestras áreas comunes y el amor por el deporte. Así se mantiene vivo el legado de nuestro héroe.
Necesitamos más Robertos Clementes en este mundo que tanto lo necesita y tú puedes ser uno de ellos.
