We're FRC team 7157, μbotics, from Brea Olinda High School in Brea, CA and we need your help
At the FIRST Robotics Orange County Regional, our first-year team advanced to the elimination rounds, won quarterfinals, and made it to semifinals. After this impressive run, our team unexpectedly won the Rookie All-Star Award, qualifying us to go to Worlds. Good human beings like you can help us get to the World Championships in Houston, Texas.
Attending the championships will enable us to plant permanent STEM roots in our city that now has its first official robotics team, give us a platform to teach STEM students in the elementary and junior high schools, and give a hardworking, crazy group of teens an experience they'll never forget.

Our Journey
The rather blandly titled Brea Olinda Robotics Club didn't show much promise; a practically dead club with just a few phasing members.
And then FIRST happened.
Upon our official entry to the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), our team underwent massive reconstruction, transitioning to the values of the organization in the name of providing students with opportunities to hone real-world skills. With just a small core team and even initial difficulty in paying registration costs, struggling to manage gaining sponsorships and rising to the challenge of build season proved difficult for an entire team of FRC newbies. However, we rose to the occasion, and through sheer passion and a drive to inspire, we've managed to gain an opportunity most teams dream of.
We do not intend to waste this.
Funding our trip to Houston will greatly improve our team's ability to spread FIRST values to our local community. In the face of dire consequence, our team was able to prevail, and it is out of necessity for future students that we are able to spread our message.
We hope that, with your generous donations, we can continue to carry on the values this team's founding platform floats on:
