Team Westmore!!

On 6 April 2025, colleagues from the Anglian Water People team will be taking on the Rutland Half Marathon (yes that's 13.1 miles!!!!) in honour of Leo Westmore, the bravest little fighter we know!!!

At just 3.5 years old, Leo was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, Burkitt’s Lymphoma, on 17 December 2024. Since then, he has been receiving treatment at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, showing incredible courage every step of the way. His parents, Emma and Michael, have dedicated themselves fully to his care, putting everything else on hold to be by his side every step of the way!

As Emma’s colleagues, we feel helpless watching her family face this unimaginable challenge, but we are determined to show our support in any way we can. That’s why we are walking as Team Westmore, to stand with them, to raise awareness, and to help ease any financial pressures they will face over the coming months as Leo's treatment continues.
