My daughter Teylor was chosen to represent the United States on Team USA in Athlone, Ireland this July for International Wheelchair and Amputee Sports (IWAS) World Games.
Injured at birth, Teylor is a disabled athlete who's goal is to make Team USA Paralympics 2020 in Tokyo. I would like to go with her this summer to Ireland, but pulling together the funds for her to go is challenging enough, let alone the funds for me to join her. I would be grateful for the ability to participate in this amazing opportunity of a lifetime event as the proud mother that I am.
I have been hesitant to start this Go Fund Me out of pure pride, but I am realizing the closer we are getting to June that it isnt going to happen if I dont even try. I am not comfortable asking for help from family & friends, let alone going public with it. Any support you may be able to give us would be a wonderful gift.
