Team United needs your help!
We’re headed to Utah in August to kick some ass and take some names in the WFTDA Continental Cup. But to get there, we’re hoping for a little fan support to cross the last item off our checklist.
Things we’ve got: penetrating Jammers, punishing Blockers and brilliant Pivots.
Things we need: money!
Gas, food and a place to stay. These are the essential ingredients for any road trip. But when you pile them on top of league fees, rink fees, practice times, equipment costs and everything else it takes to run a roller derby team, those essentials can be even harder to come by.
Team United has a chance to make some real noise at Cup this year and we’d love to do DSM proud! All we need is a little push to get us to Utah and, hopefully, that’s where YOU come in!
$1, $5, $100…whatever you can spare is going to get us that much closer to filling our gas tanks, feeding a car load of hungry folks, or making sure we’ve all got a place to lay our heads and ice our knees at the end of the day.
We’re based in Des Moines, but some of us come from all over the state and even different parts of the country, just to practice together, sweat together, play together. Be together.
Come join us. Let’s get to Utah together.
