As you grow older, you realise you have two hands. One for helping yourself and one for helping others.
My passion for off-track thoroughbreds began when I went through the process to find Ecuador. While looking to buy my horse, I was exposed to many retired thoroughbreds all wanting one thing - a happy, safe and loving home.
With my birthday fast approaching I thought I might do something different this year. From today till November 30th, I’ll be raising money for Team Thoroughbred - the equine welfare division of Racing NSW.
Team Thoroughbred is a non for profit organisation that is at the heart of Racing NSW’s commitment to help the thoroughbred horse in every stage of its life, especially retirement.
All money raised will go towards feeding, providing veterinary care and re-training of thoroughbred horses in Team Thoroughbred NSW’s programs.
From $2 - $200, every donation counts. Let’s give these horses the best training, support and care in order to have the life that they deserve after racing.
