Team Taino Kids Take On Thailand

Team Taino Martial Arts and Fitness has some exciting news! Two students recently won the WKA (World Kickboxing Association) National Championship and have been invited to participate in the WKA Asian Pacific Championship in Thailand and join the US Team.

Who are these students?  Meet Layla and Peyton!  They are both senior students at Team Taino. Layla is 12 and Peyton is 9.  They have both been training under head coach Eddy Torres for about 5 years.  They are both champions in MuayThai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and have won many tournaments.  Both girls are not only exceptional students academically, but they set the standard for hard work at Team Taino, training upwards of 10+ hours a week perfecting their skills.

Currently, both girls are seeking sponsorships to help fund their trip to Thailand in March 2020 to compete in this once in a lifetime opportunity WKA Asian Pacific Championships at the International & Thailand Games.  Your support would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for helping these amazing young ladies and making their dream of becoming World Champions a reality!!
