Stos Update Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkN33ibp7P0

We all know him as Stos.

Kristos Sfinas is the fun loving guy, that can make the good times happen, but is always there to help someone out and get the work done.
You may know him as Stos from Whitesboro or out on the boat on  Cheat Lake or the guy that always has his dogs. Maybe you took a ride in an ambulance and he was your EMS. Or a hazy night when he was slinging drinks behind a bar downtown or on theRubberU.com Bar Tours in Morgantown.
However you know him you know he has one of the biggest hearts in the world and is willing to drop anything to help anyone out. There's no favor too big for him. He's rescued stranded boaters on Cheat Lake by towing them in, he's given people incredible memories both as a friend and event organizer, and he has saved lives as an EMS.

Now it is our chance to return his favors.
As some may know Stos was deferentially diagnosed with late stage testicular cancer after leaving his initial urology appointment, had surgery a week later where they didn't just remove a mass, but everything on the right side. Surgery day came and went and after a brief waiting period for pathology to come back with results, it was confirmed, it was cancer. 26 days after his first surgery, he had a second to get his port placed and now he is in the midst of chemo treatment.

He is being treated with 3 cycles of intense chemo with the first week of the 3 week cycles being 5 days in a row with subsequent doses spread out.  I don't know if you all are familiar with chemo, but this is aggressive and the side effects aren't fun.  In Stos's own words, "They said the side affects are going to be moderate but will include hair loss which has been tough for me to process. My hair is like my third best feature."

With his first week down, he has muscled through, but the chemo is already taking it's toll draining his energy, nausea, and loss of appetite.  The guy only weighs 120 lbs. soaking wet anyway, so keeping weight on is going to be the biggest challenge, especially since he refuses to slow down!

Still Giving Back!
While this page will help pay for medical expenses, Stos has found another calling. While researching his illness he has found very little in terms of supportive material that answers the scary what-if's and out comes. So in response, Kristos is creating a charity and informational source documenting his journey in hopes his own experience can provide some comfort to someone in his exact position as they start their own battle.
Stos will document his journey, from chemo side effects, to hunger how-tos, and best ways to rest. These will be both video confessionals and written blog posts for everyone to keep up with his progress.

You can keep up with him at: https://mopmenllc.wixsite.com/mysite?fbclid=IwAR3vE4drVU6Hy2t4JMrFPTUgCnQiMNPOMoQTQMj6DMHqspUZvSONayXWrMo

How Can You Help?
Since he is a true entrepreneur  he refuses to take a break from the businesses. The dude loves to work because he loves his work. But with the chemo treatments and side effects it makes it hard to do much of anything. Lastly, this proud SOB wants to pay his own way. He refuses to be a "charity." Well, we refuse to look at it that way!

This is just a chance for us to pay him back for all those favors, memories, help, rescues, and just being the great person he is.....

So we ask you to donate, but of course not without a caveat. We will be rewarding your donations of $40 or more with gifts from local friends and businesses.

If you donate $40 or more you receive:
A gift certificate for $15 at Clutch Wing Shop or Tailpipes Burgers and a "Team Stos" wristband.
A Huge "Thank You" to Tailpipes and Clutch Wing Shop for their sponsorship.

All donations of any size are welcome, but for those giving a little extra, Stos wanted to (of course) give something back. If you can't donate, PLEASE SHARE!

There will be a benefit dinner April 13, 2019 at Coaches Crab Shack on Cheat Lake.
There will be a small donation to enter, but will include food, beer, and entertainment. We will also be hosting a silent Auction.
Sponsored by Coaches Crab Shack & Jo's Globe Distributing.

Team Stos thanks you and remember. He's got the balls to fight cancer!
