Team Steve Road to medical recovery

On August 31st Steve O’Donnell, my brother in law, was struck by a car as he was trying to get his truck up onto a tow truck. The car did not stop and has yet to be identified. Steve has suffered many injuries to include severed veins in his arm, torn bicep, significant blood loss, staples in his head, a fractured scapula, c7 fracture, and a broken leg. That is all we know for sure right now. He has a long long road to recovery and may not ever have full feeling in his arm (possibly
leg). In less than 24 hours following the accident, Steve underwent 2 major surgeries.

Steve is a husband and father that plays a vital role in supporting his family with not only a full time job, but a very successful side job as well. Unfortunately, they are now down to a single income with 3 kids and medical bills piling up by the hour. If you are in a position to help, please consider doing so. Any amount helps!
Hopefully a meal train will be starting this week to assist Carrie with dinners. She is going to be spending a lot of time away from home, while Steve is in the hospital and her coworkers have agreed to help provide dinners for the kids. They do not have any local family, but we are all trying to clear our schedules to be there as much as possible to help.


For anyone local to Spring Hill, TN this took place around 9-9:15pm on 8/31 at 431/Lewisburg Pike going south, past the Peytonsville Road intersection. Please be on the lookout for any vehicle that may have significant damage. Any tip helps! It is believed to be a van (according to the tow truck driver that was already there) but we are not positive. Please spread the
word!


There is now a lead on a vehicle that is either a yellow can or utility truck with left front end damage and likely a damaged side mirror. If you see any vehicle like this,  please get tag number and let Carrie know the information on the plate as well as location.
