Ms. Mirabal needs our help

We are asking you to make a donation to help Terrie Mirabal, a former 1st-grade teacher at Horizon Academy West!  She was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer last year.  She has the most aggressive kind and it has been a difficult battle for her.  Ms. Mirabal had 12 rounds of chemotherapy and received five weeks of radiation followed by a lumpectomy.  Now she will face more suregeries starting next month in September. 

She is a single mom with two sons and is unable to return to work at this time.  Ms. Mirabal is in a financial hardship and needs our help.  She is dearly loved by family, friends and the Horizon Academy West community.   We need you to please consider providing her with some funds to help cover the cost of medical and basic living expenses.   We want her to have a peace of mind during her cancer journey.   Her family, friends and the Horizon Academy West community will continue to raise awareness and funds for Ms. Mirabal and any support you can give is very much appreciated.
