Team Matty NI

This is Matt my amazingly brave brother in law and my amazingly strong sister Eimear. Eimear and Matt were to be married on 11th February in Florida but Matt was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer just 2 weeks prior to that. Thanks to the support of friends they still had a wonderful Seattle wedding ahead of his first chemo session on Valentine’s Day. We are raising money for two purposes- half of the money will go toward the Swedish Cancer Centre in Seattle and the rest will go Eimear and Matt to help with medical expenses.
Being so far away is difficult and as a family and friends we want to show our solidarity and support for them and so we are entering at least two (possibly three) teams in the Belfast Marathon and then there are currently 4 of us doing the 8 mile walk.
