Season’s Greetings!

We wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for your thoughts and donations which have made a big difference for Mardie and her family. We wanted to provide an update as it’s been a while since our last one. Overall, Mardie’s health is stable and she continues to have the “Mardie Party'' can-do attitude. She had brain surgery in August for a small tumor and is gearing up for her 47th round of chemo Christmas week. Mardie has brain scans every three months to ensure there is no new growth. Through it all, she continues to meet each challenge with grace and a smile on her face.

All of this continues to be a financial strain on their family, with a lot of uncertainty. It has been difficult to work full time because of these bumps in the road, combined with medical appointments and the possibility of seizures reoccurring due to the brain metastasis. In addition, Dale has had his fair share of health concerns with flare ups from his Crohn’s disease and hospitalizations over the past couple of years.

Our goal is to alleviate some of the stress by relieving some of the financial burden they are carrying, especially during the holiday season. Because you have all been so supportive to Mardie and her family, we thought we would reach out to her loved ones who may be in a position to help at this time. We feel this will allow Mardie and her family to focus on her health and enjoy the holidays.

We are asking that this is not shared on social media out of respect for their family's privacy. If you are so inclined to help that would be greatly appreciated. If you feel there is someone who would be interested in helping feel free to share this email.

Mardie and Dale continue to be incredibly grateful for all of the prayers and support they have received over the past 3 ½ years. As you all know, even during Mardie’s own cancer marathon, she still shows up for everyone in their time of need. She is selfless, caring and is always putting others first. We would like to do the same for her. Thank you for any amount you are able to contribute. We hope this holiday season brings you much joy and amazing shared memories with your loved ones.
