Team Lydz - Fight Like A Girl!!

I saw Lydia on Sunday September 23rd, she stopped by the house to bring me my “Fight Like A Girl” shirt that was created on her behalf. We talked for a little while because she was busy, we talked about all 3 surgeries she has to have, and the expenses incurred so I have decided to do a GoFundMe to give people who are near and far and can’t always be with her to lend a helping hand a chance to.

Lydia was diagnosed on August 9th with Breast Cancer and her 1st surgery is September 27, the next will be early January and the 3rd TBD. As of right now her deductible is paid which is 4K and her out of pocket will be 20%, since her 2nd surgery is after January 1st her deductible starts again. She will be out of work and this is where we step up to help our SISTER…She may not be my blood sister, but she is my sister by choice because WE all choose who are Family is!

My biggest reason for doing this as well,  Lydia is a huge advocate for breast cancer, she has done benefit after benefit to “Save The Tatas”, 3 day walks for Susan B Komen and numerous 5k runs around the DFW area…so when she was diagnosed it was kind of a blow, but Lydia is Strong and Her Fight is Our Fight. My sister’s battle is my battle!! Team Lydz all the Way! It is time for Lydia to be Supported!
