Nick Kesler is known to us by his many different titles: Director of Photography, Producer, Camera Guy, Friend and Dad.
These titles fall short, however, because once you've spent any amount time with Nick in any capacity, he gets bestowed with another title: Friend.
When a friend hurts, we hurt with him, and our heart yearns to help in whatever way we can. This is why this GoFundMe site is now being started on Nick's behalf.
As you know, Nick was recently diagnosed with cancer of the kidney and the prognosis for a successful outcome is very positive. That being said, treatment will be a lengthy process and is bound to impact Nick's ability to work in the coming months. His medical costs will be significant, and anything we can do to help him will help to elleviate the financial stress of not being able to work. We need Nick to put all of his energy toward health and healing, and financially supporting him will go a long way to do this.
In Nick's perfect world, he wouldn't ask for this type of help; it's not in his DNA to do so. Even though we know that's the case, let's help him anyway! We know that he would do the same for us.
