On Christmas Eve, 2017 Jason and Kristie Wilder received some of the most devastating news a parent could get. Their 7 year old son, John, was diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL). He is currently at Dell Children's Hospital in Austin, Texas. They were to meet with the doctors today, to determine a plan of care.
The Wilders moved to Elgin, TX nearly a year ago where Jason took a position as the preaching minister for the Elgin church of Christ. Kristie is a homemaker and homeschools their three children, ages 3, 7 and 10. Jason and Kristie have both made a huge impact on our church in the short period of time they have been with us. They are both very involved with all aspects of the church-activities, the youth, outreach, etc. We are both very proud to call them our friends. Jason and Kristie are faithful servants of our Lord, always helping and encouraging others. Right now, they need our help and encouragement.
We are asking for donations for medical bills and other expenses. No donation is too small.
