#TEAM JESSICA CANCER BATTLE

December 2017, Jessica Campos was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer.  It is a very aggressive, hormone-driven type of cancer that is already in her lymph nodes as well.  Her treatment will be just as aggressive, but she will be very sick for awhile.  She will be undergoing 6 months of chemotherapy, then surgeries, then after healing from the surgeries she will be undergoing daily radiation for 6 more weeks.  Jessica has 6 kids, her youngest being 7 and her oldest being 20.  She is the primary breadwinner for her family, which also includes her man, TJ, who has been disabled.  TJ is also the stay-at-home Dad, and will be Jessica's caretaker through all of this. 

Jessica has good health insurance to cover most of her medical costs, but she does not have supplemental sick time coverage. She has just depleted her sick/vacation time at work and is facing many days ahead of her where she will not be able to work, as she goes through this next year of her life.  This targeted amount will cover her missed pay  for the next 8-10 months, estimating she will miss 1-2 weeks of work each chemo round.  She will also need time off for radiation, as well as surgical leave time until her short term disability kicks in, which will only be for during the post surgery time. 

Jessica had her first round of chemo a week ago tomorrow and has been unable to function since then.  She is extremely dehydrated and back in the hospital for IV flluids and pain management today. Jessica is very worried about her ability to support her family while taking care of her self during this very hard fight.  Your donations will help her have peace of mind so she can focus where she needs to:  on her recovery from this devastating disease.  Any amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated.  Peace and best wishes to all, and thank you for your consideration.
