Team Harvey vs Arsenal in memory of Kiyan Prince

In 2006, Kiyan Prince, a talented young footballer signed to Queens Park Rangers, was murdered outside his school whilst trying to break up a fight. Kiyan’s parents have committed to using his legacy to inspire, challenge and educate young people facing challenges.

This year to mark the 16th anniversary of Kiyan's death, Team Harvey FC have organised a charity match vs an Arsenal charity team in aid of Kiyan and his legacy. The game will be hosted by Beaconsfield Town Football Club on May 29th 2022 with tickets still on sale .

Dr Mark Prince OBE is Kiyan’s father and the founder of the Kiyan Prince Foundation. In his youth, Mark experienced a range of challenges including becoming homeless, before turning his life around to become an International Boxing Federation and World Boxing Organisation champion. Instead of seeking retribution for Kiyan’s death, Mark has channelled his energy and life’s work into ensuring all young people have the potential to make a positive contribution to society. Through the Future Champions programme—our education, motivational coaching, and awareness programme for young people at risk of involvement in violence and crime—we’ve already changed thousands of young lives.

Last year, on the 15th anniversary of Kiyan’s death, an amazing community came together to imagine what would have happened if Kiyan’s dreams had been fulfilled as a young man of 30. With the support of EA Sports, Adidas, JD Sports, QPR and communications agency ENGINE, Kiyan was been launched as a footballer on FIFA, finally realising his ambition.
With your support, we’d like to take Kiyan’s legacy to the next level, by scaling up our work with young people and preparing for our long-term ambition: the establishment of the Future Champions Centre, a new centre to help young people realise their ambitions through coaching and sport.
