As heart wrenching & devastating this is on myself, my three children & my entire family - I am opening up to all of you in a time of need in hopes you will bless my family to the best of your ability. Whether it be with prayers, financial help or offering a home cooked meal; We appreciate any and every little bit of help we receive.
With that being said, on September 21st, 2018 life as my family and I knew it changed forever. After sleepless nights, trouble breathing, a trip to the ER, an ambulance ride to Boston Children’s and waiting hours that felt like days for a million test results later - My 10 month old baby girl, Giselle was diagnosed with Fanconi Anemia a Rare genetic disease & Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. These past few days have been the longest, most trying, most stressful, most devastating days of our lives. But together, and with prayers from family and friends, our baby girl continues to battle and fight this horrible disease daily. My baby girl Giselle is the strongest most tenacious baby girl and has taught us all what this life truly means since the very first day she was born, and even more so in the last week. In life, us as people tend to get caught up in our busy lives and distractions of this crazy, harsh world. This very difficult experience has taught us that none of that really matters in the grand scheme of things. In life, we must love each other, we must spend as much time as we can with the people who we love. Family truly is everything. This life has no guarantee of health, wealth, or earthly values. I’ve always been told our children are put on this world to teach us life lessons. I’ve never found that to be more true. Watching my 10 month old baby girl lay in her hospital bed, battling this horrible horrible disease these last few days, being stronger than I could ever be - if anything, has taught me God is great & no matter what obstacle is thrown our way we will overcome it together as a family. Fortunately, love rules this world. And love will heal our baby girl, as God contiunues to hold her & bring her back to good health - each and every day.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand

With this experience being a cruel reality and a bad nightmare I just can’t wake up from there are so many other financial realities that we will have to face going forward. My girl and I have a long battle to fight, a long road ahead of us, and a long way back to what we knew as our normal life. We ask that with everyday prayers, any financial contribution that anyone is able to contribute is extremely appreciated. We thank everyone who has been lifting our baby girl up thus far, as well as respecting our privacy we wish to have during this time. We will get through this together, I am just sure of it ~
