SPRING IS HERE AND SO IS BASEBALL SEASON. IT'S LORI GERSHON'S FAVORITE SPORT. LET'S ALL GO TO BAT TO RAISE FUNDS TO HELP HER AND HER FAMILY OFFSET SOME MEDICAL EXPENSES WHILE LORI IS TRYING TO STRIKE OUT HER CANCER. LET'S ALL MAKE IT A HOME RUN AND HIT IT OUT OF THE PARK!!!!!!!!!
Dear Friends,
As many of you may know, our dear friend Lori Gershon has been battling breast cancer for a number of years and was recently diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer.
Treatments for this disease are mostly experimental and thus, not covered by insurance. Other treatments and doctors leave mounting bills for copays, deductibles, etc.
As a result of this disease, Lori is no longer able to work and her husband is doing the best he can between working and taking Lori for treatments.
We have been thinking of ways to help Lori and her family and hoping we can count on the generosity of her friends and classmates to help in whatever way they can.
As much as we know it is hard for Lori to accept charity, we also know how much she needs this.
Please know that ANY amount at all will make a difference. In advance, we thank you for opening your hearts to this very special woman.
I hope the day will be a lighter highway, as friends are found on every road….
