One of our Pirates, Bryan Foster was injured on September 2nd.
Saturday, September 2nd the Fosterss were at a friends house on their back patio and Bryan went to sit down in a chair with Chandler (his 9 month old baby boy). One of the legs was slightly off the concrete in the flower bed so he flipped backwards and over the balcony which is 5 - 6 feet high and landed on concrete below and his head hit a metal shovel. He has a skull fracture, compression fractures in his T7 & T8 vertebrae, and a fractured sternum. He has bleeding on the brain, for now, that seems to be under control.
Bryan is a skilled craftman in construction and will not be able to work for a minimum of 3 months from his injuries. They have a long road to recovery. If you are able, please consider donating $50, $100 or what you can to help the Fosters. The outpouring of prayers and love are incredibly humbling to the family.
Goodnews so far is that he is alert and has use of all of his extremities, and will have to go down as a Super Dad because Chandler is perfectly fine without even a scratch.
