<div>We are a team of friends and family, fundraising for our beloved friend, husband, father, son &amp; brother- Peter Eveleigh. Pete, affectionately known to those close to him as Evo, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in November 2022. This life-changing news would be devastating to anyone, but is especially difficult to comprehend considering Evo’s own dad suffered for years with a similarly debilitating but completely unassociated condition- Parkinson’s Disease. Evo had to recently come to terms with his father’s passing and has made personal efforts to support and fundraise for Parkinson’s, amongst other charities throughout his life. It’s now time that we help him!

<div>For those that don’t yet know, MND is terminal, with no known cause and no cure and can significantly shorten life expectancy- unfortunately leading to death. Evo is only 33 years old. He is a husband and a father to a 5-year-old son. There are many dreams and ambitions that he is yet to see come to fruition in his life, and we hold out hope that we can fight this disease to allow him the happiness he deserves and the opportunities to achieve these ambitions. The #TeamEvo campaign has been established to raise awareness of this atrocious disease, but also to financially support Evo himself, as well as his young family, as he battles this disease. Funds raised will go towards supporting with medical costs, giving Evo the best quality of life, helping to make the experiences and ambitions he desires a reality, and supporting his family both now and in the future.

<div>We also strive to raise awareness of this disease, as Evo himself, so fitting of the man he is, wants to do what he can to help others who have or will be affected by MND. As part of this, we will be organising some charitable fundraising as part of our fundraising events and activities, to help in the fight against MND!
