Fundraiser for Erika Cazares
Friends and family, it’s not always easy to ask for help. Especially when you’re dealing with something as personal and painful as a loved one’s battle with cancer. Our sister Erika has always been the one to lend a helping hand, no matter what challenges life had in front of her at any given moment. As recently as a few weeks ago after Hurricane Harvey affected so many in our area, Erika was hard at work trying her best to help as many as she could.
She has literally worked through her pain and has fought harder against her diagnosis of cervical & lymphoma cancer than she has ever fought against anything else in her entire life.
It continues to be an uphill battle. Most significantly for Erika and her young family.
Her family, including her five children and granddaughter – Natalie, Jacob, Nicole, Nia, Jonathan, and Kai – have been at her side throughout everything, as have the rest of us who are fortunate enough to call Erika part of our family. Unfortunately, now our sister Erika needs more than a little help.
After going through a year of treatments and procedures, she now has medical bills that need to be paid as well as everyday household expenses that will not wait for her to get better or for her family to be able to go back to work. She is in need of constant care, day and night, and while she has received some medical equipment to keep her more comfortable at home, we as her family know this is quite literally her time of most need.
We ask that you please consider making a donation to this fundraising account we have created for her. The money we raise will help Erika with her ongoing medical expenses and give her family the peace of mind to be able to continue taking care of her the way she needs without having to stress about making ends meet on top of everything else.
