Elsa has not been feeling her best these past few months. On Wednesday of this week Elsa had an MRI and discovered her brain tumor had returned, bigger than last time. She and her sister Patti were flown to Providence Hospital in Anchorage for immediate surgery.
Her doctor was able to remove a large percentage of the tumor, however this is only the beginning of Elsa's long journey to recovery.
Once she is cleared to return to Fairbanks, she will begin chemotherapy and radiation.
Her sister Patti is commited to stay by her side throughout this journey. During this recovery period, neither Elsa nor Patti will be able to work. Elsa and her family will need our support more than ever. They would greatly appreciate any support you can offer.
Please feel free to contact Missy Odsather or Susan Haas with any questions or concerns.
