My nephew, Darrell Mashall, has been battling prostate cancer for nine years. It has spread to other areas and he has been undergoing chemo and other treatments now for a while. He has to go to Oklahoma every three weeks for treatment and other test to see if things are improving or worsening. The medical bills are overwhelming. He continues to work,though it is hard because he still has two sons that are in school. There is no insurance that I am aware of and the stress of the expenses really makes it worse for him. Darrell is and has always been very special to me. He could always lift my spirits just being around him and he has the same effect on others. He continues to lift all of us up with his outlook on life as he faces this disease that takes away his energy and strength. First of all, I pray that all of you will lift him up in prayer. He has a strong faith, but going through this is taking a toll. I am asking for any donation that you may find in your heart too give. No gift is too small when given for love and compassion.
