Team Colten

As many already know on June 26th our son Colten suffered a seizure in the swimming pool at grandma's house while visiting in Texas. Colten was medi flighted to Children's hospital in Dallas. 45 minutes of CPR was performed on Colten which resulted in lung,kidney and liver damage. The first 24 hrs was very critical and doctors didnt expect Colten to make it. Colten fought through and was placed on ECMO for his lungs and heart as they were not working on their own, CVCH for his kidney failure, and intubation to help him breathe. I'm proud to say 18 days in the ICU Colten has made miraculous steps in healing. He came off ECMO after 5 days and this week our goal is to remove CVCH and intubation as He is growing stronger everyday! Colten will still have a long road to full recovery but we Thank God that he is a fighter and is still here with us.
