TEAM CINDA

Some of you may have heard that Cinda (Mitchell) Nicolaes was recently diagnosed with late stage ovarian cancer.  She was hospitalized in late summer for almost two weeks after a successful major surgery.  Now Cinda is undergoing a rigorous schedule of aggressive chemotherapy which is leaving her very weak, ill and unable to work most days.  Cinda's husband, Mark, is trying to work as much as he can while also being the main caregiver for Cinda and their teenage son Alexander.

At this time, her chemo treatments are scheduled to last until Christmas, at which time the doctors will evaluate her progress.  In the meantime, the medical bills are mounting.  Instead of worrying about how to pay for all of the medical and incidental bills, Cinda should be concentrating on beating this horrible cancer.

Whether you are family, know Cinda as a trusted and loyal friend, a fellow sports mom, a co-worker, classmate or neighbor; please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.  If you are able, any donation you can make big or small will be greatly appreciated and help to support Cinda's ongoing recovery.  If funds raised should exceed Cinda's needs, any remaining money will be redirected to a non-profit benefiting ovarian cancer patients.
