This is an honest and legitimate request for the Kassas Family.
Charbel Kassas is one of the Oatlands children who continues to fight for his life after being hit by the drunk driver on Saturday, the 1st of February 2020.
Charbel is so critically injured that paramedics were forced to intubate him at the scene, before rushing him to hospital under police escort. He is still in a coma with significant injuries to his spine and brain.
Assaad and Rania have been in Australia for a short time only and have no access to Medicare. All medical expenses are out of pocket and will increase dramatically. They need to be by their sons bedside and he will require full time care.
We are now seeking for the communities help and contribution. Any donation made towards this beautiful humble family is greatly appreciated.
The Kassas Family have not asked for any financial assistance at this stage but being their neighbour and close friend, I, Rimonda Abi Zeid am witnessing the effects this traumatic disaster is having on the family and can foresee what lies ahead.
PLEASE NOTE: Gofundme requires the beneficiary of a campaign to have an Australian Drivers License. Asaad & Rania Kassas Charbel's parents, do not have an Australian Drivers License. Norma Habib, Charbel's grandmother kindly accepted to be the beneficiary for this campaign on behalf of Charbel's family.
Please remember to keep the Kassas Family in your prayers.
God bless your blessed families
