Where do I start? Alyse has been my very best friend since the beginning and since the beginning she has had a hard time in life, but she has smiled through it all, I have never met someone as strong as her, you would never even know without asking the horrible obstacles that she has conquered, the struggles she has overcame, that’s why I’m here now, because she needs help and I can’t save her but I can try to help as much as possible, this is her story.
Alyse is 31 years old and while pregnant she found out she has breast cancer, she went through a double mastectomy, all while caring for her beautiful children by herself because recently her husband went to be with the lord after Alyse got her diagnoses of breast cancer, while not only mourning the love of her life but also her child that passed away at 5 months old, she had to beat cancer, she knew she had to beat it for her other children and she did just that, with a smile on her face and a positive attitude through it all, now don’t get me wrong, she has some rough nights, some nights where she was sick and in pain, but you would have never thought that she was battling this monster, I was amazed through the entire ordeal, how could someone who lost their child and husband be so brave? So courageous, so damn strong? That’s exactly who Alyse is, a warrior. Alyse went through chemo, radiation, surgeries, and was told everything was going great, that is until, her back started hurting her very badly, she had went through so much and beat it, but something wasn’t quite right and she knew it, she couldn’t pick her precious baby boy up, it hurt to walk or even move and she felt like she was going down hill fast, I could see a huge change in her. After going to the ER and them telling her that is was “just muscles” her Doctor decided to do another PET scan just to make sure the cancer hadn’t spread because she was getting worse and worse, that’s when they found it, found “this horrible monster” had returned with a vengeance, it had spread to other parts of her body and also there is a tumor wrapped around her sciatic nerve which is causing her to go down hill and not be able to walk long periods of time,this is the first time I actually seen her scared and this is where I need your help, I am asking for support for Alyse at this time for not only a wheel chair to help her get around but also because she cannot work due to cancer, she also has to move soon and I know she cannot do this alone, she has children to care for and I want her to beat this without worrying about money, If anyone knows Alyse they know she would give the shirt off her back for anyone and not ask anything in return so this is our chance to show her how much she means to all of us, to take the worries of how she’s going to make ends meet, how she’s going to put gas in her car to get to and from the many appointments for radiation ect. She is in for the fight of her life. These funds will go along way to helping Alyse heal. Thank you.
