Hello friends!
My 5th grade team and I work in a title I school that serves students in a high poverty/low income area. We are currently using the Seesaw program to help facilitate online learning in our Math, Science, and ELAR classrooms. We love it! This program allows students to easily write, draw, add pictures of their work, be read to, record their answers, access links from other websites, and use many other tools, such as manipulatives, highlighters, etc. As a teacher, I am also able to go in and draw on a students slide and help them find any mistakes and show them what to do.
Unfortunately, our free trials of this program are almost up and our district will not be paying for our subscriptions. So, we either have to pay the $120 each to renew them ourselves, or try to learn a brand new platform to teach to the kids - which is no where close to being as easy to use.
I know this time is very difficult for many of us. I have already spent so much of my own money to create a classroom in my own home to facilitate online learning in the best way that I can. I have finally found a way that works and is easy to use for my kiddos - I don't want to lose that structure and stability I have created and force them to learn a whole new program. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
